Advanced Field Service Engr

Roles & Responsibilities:

Should act as technical interface to customers and is responsible to ensure that projects are executed within agreed schedule and budget to meet the customer technical specification requirements
Should be able to Independently carry out Control system Hardware and Software Detail Design, Engineering, Application Development, Testing, Integration of Hardware, FAT with customer, Site Commissioning, system Cutover's, Loop Checking
Should be able to develop Functional Design Specification
Should be able to develop Typicals / Templates for Complex Loops and develop project specific standards
Should be able to read, Understand P&IDs, Control Narratives, Logic diagrams, etc.
Monitors and controls assigned work scope against the project plan, ensures effective change control and identifies risks / opportunities
Ensures that the engineered solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality, and supporting documentation and implementation process at minimum cost by allocating work assignments to project team
Visit to site to get customer feedback and prepare the site execution methodology with EM and team to ensure timely site closure and LCS handover
Ensure group work in compliance with quality / safety procedures. Identify possible improvement opportunities and manage their implementation
Ensure common methods, techniques, tools and products as agreed by the knowledge communities / Process Owner Group (POG) Leaders are being effectively applied and provide feedback for future improvement
Ensures that the final deliverable meets the functional specifications of the customer by doing thorough quality checks
Provides troubleshooting, maintenance, site support, and corrective actions for technical issues faced by other Engineering Groups
Usage of engineering tools for optimization of Engineering man hours to improve LGM
Conducts contract review with EM/FLM to prepare requirement analysis for the projects.

YOU MUST HAVE

BE (Instrumentation / Electronics / Electronics & Communication)Preferably should have experience in Terminal Automation system > 10 yrs

EPKS/SCADA/HMI and related network
ML200 PLC / Safety Manager / Control Edge / other PLCs hardware engineering, configuration and logic development, Undertake Hardware design Engineering activities like PLC Cabinet, Marshalling cabinet, Network cabinet and PDB cabinet drawing generation.
Engineering of field instruments and related engineering activities including instrument data sheets, JB/Cable schedule, Hook up drawings,
Knowledge of various communication protocols like Modbus TCP/IP, RS485, RS232 and their trouble shooting.
Installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of Honeywell Radar Gauges (Model 873, 97x, 990), Servo Gauges (Model 854, 954), TFMS software (Model Enti Pro, Entis) and integration them with other SCADA / PLC / DCS system over Serial or LAN modbus communication.
Design of above ground tanks, under ground tank, bullets, sphere and its use to customer.
Knowledge of all Field Instruments used in Terminal Automation System Batch controller, RIT, Card reader, Air eliminator, Strainer, PD Meter, MFM, DCV, Additive skid, Radar level transmitter, Servo level transmitter, TSI, MST, Pressure Transmitter, Density Meter, Vibrating Fork Type Level Switches, RTD, Pressure gauge, Temperature
