Position Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology to join our team at a Neuro Rehabilitation Centre specializing in the care of neurologically disabled patients.

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating the psychological and emotional needs of our patients to enhance their overall well-being and quality of life.


Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:


  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to understand the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral aspects of neurologically disabled patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to contribute to a holistic understanding of patients' needs.

Treatment Planning and Implementation:


  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, taking into consideration the unique challenges presented by neurological disabilities.
  • Implement evidencebased therapeutic interventions to address emotional and behavioral issues.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate psychological interventions into the overall rehabilitation plan.

Counseling and Psychotherapy:


  • Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals and groups, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and adjustment to disability.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to the specific needs and abilities of neurologically disabled patients.

Behavioral Intervention:


  • Design and implement behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors associated with neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with caregivers and families to provide support and education on managing behavioral issues at home.

Patient and Family Education:


  • Conduct psychoeducational sessions to educate patients and their families about the psychological and emotional aspects of neurological disabilities.
  • Offer coping strategies and resources to enhance overall family functioning.

Documentation and Reporting:


  • Maintain accurate and uptodate clinical records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the interdisciplinary team and participate in case conferences.
7.


Research and Continuous Professional Development:


  • Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of clinical psychology and neurorehabilitation.
  • Engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance and update clinical skills.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure or certification as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Experience in working with neurologically disabled populations is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with neurological disabilities.
