  • Job Accountabilities
  • Responsible for design, development, and implementation of APIs as per the guidelines set by API Governance team
  • Will be the technical owner to sign off the services/code developed by developers
  • Define the development best practices and guidelines
  • Mentoring the team for implementation of various API Lifecycle management policies like traffic management, version management etc.
  • Define the standards for creation of static documentation/specification for all the APIs hosted on developer portal
  • Participates with scrum teams during sprint planning sessions / estimations
  • Will be actively involved in feasibility studies of an new requirements using TIBCO suite of products
  • Will play an active role in impact analysis of the changes
  • Define and implement the nonfunctional requirements during development sprints
  • Provide the inputs for definition of ready from middleware perspective
  • Define the acceptance criteria for production team
  • Help production teams in improving monitoring of production services
  • Define the standard deployment checklists and other templates
  • Communicate project updates effectively back to COE
  • Play an active role in setup, configuration, build automation tasks and help in creation of CI/CD pipeline
  • Communicate challenges or risks proactively and appropriately
  • Work as part of an Agile Team (Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and peer developers) to create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Leads reviews of colleagues work
  • Experience/ Skills Required
  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Expert in TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.x and 6.x version including development, installation and platform setup
  • Expert in TIBCO Enterprise Messaging service
  • Expert in Google API Management platform (APIGEE Edge)
  • Expert knowledge of setting up the Google API gateway in hybrid mode
  • Should be expert in defining sandboxes using Google API Management platform
  • Expert in defining the different API policies on API Gateway
  • Strong technical and functional knowledge in the financial/banking domain.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, Micro Services, Swagger, SOA concepts, WSDL, schemas, RESTful JSON services etc.
  • Should have good understanding of the software development life cycle using agile methodologies
  • Understanding of Jira, BitBucket, Swagger and other CI-CD tools
  • Strong knowledge of HTTP, XML, REST, SOAP, Web Services, SOAP UI, WSDL is must
  • Knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating system
  • Knowledge of Databases (Preferred: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
