Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef to join our team at The Party restaurant in Sri Lanka.

As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant standards and customer preferences.
Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Ensure all food items are fresh, properly stored, and adhere to food safety regulations.
Manage kitchen staff, including assigning tasks, training new employees, and monitoring performance.
Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and specials.
Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Monitor and control food costs to maximize profitability.
Handle customer inquiries and special requests professionally and efficiently.
Work efficiently in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant setting.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
