Primary Purpose:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team at the dairy plant.
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for attending to day-to-day electrical and electronic problems, performing cabling work, troubleshooting electrical issues, operating the DG Set following SOPs, and maintaining the logbook.
Key Accountabilities/Activities:
- Attend to daytoday electric and electronic problems in the dairy plant, promptly addressing any issues that arise.
- Perform cabling work, including installation and maintenance of electrical wiring systems and connections.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing equipment and techniques to identify and resolve issues.
- Operate the DG Set following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain an accurate logbook of operations and maintenance activities.
- Maintain records of HSD consumption and stock, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of EPEBX/WiFi systems to ensure their proper functioning and availability.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electric and electronic equipment, including motors, control panels, and instrumentation.
- Maintain and repair dairy street lights, telephone wiring, and other electrical infrastructure as required.
- Record power consumption on a shiftwise, main energy meterwise, and MCC (Motor Control Center) wise basis to monitor usage patterns and identify potential areas for optimization.
- Ensure cleanliness in the electrical maintenance section, organizing tools and equipment for efficient operations.
- Keep tools and tackles in workable condition, performing regular maintenance and recording their availability and condition.
- Account for all consumables used in electrical maintenance activities, maintaining accurate records and coordinating replenishment when necessary.
- Fill the logbook at the end of each shift, documenting relevant operational parameters, maintenance activities, and any other pertinent information.
- Complete tasks assigned by senior personnel, assisting in various electrical maintenance activities as needed.
- Monitor and maintain the power factor within acceptable limits to optimize power consumption and efficiency.
- Monitor and record the maximum demand to ensure compliance with power supply agreements and prevent overloads.
Work Relations:
Internal:
- Reporting to Production Manager for all Functional as well as administrative purposes.
- Second level reporting to COO
- Interface with Production, Quality Control Team, Maintenance, and Procurement teams
- Interface with HR teams.
External:
- Interface with various suppliers, regulatory agencies, Service Providers, Customers
Qualification:

Essential:_ITI / XII / Graduate
Experience:
-
Essential:_5 Years of Experience on Transformer / DG / PCC / MCC working, Motors up to 200 hP, VFD's. Added advantages if Electrical Industrial License and knowledge of Instrumentation
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a dairy plant or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and controls.
- Familiarity with cabling techniques, troubleshooting methods, and electrical maintenance practices.
- Experience in operating DG Sets and maintaining accurate logbooks.
- Knowledge of HSD consumption tracking and stock management.
- Proficiency in preventive and breakdown maintenance of EPEBX/WiFi systems and electrical equipment.
- Understanding of street lighting and telephone wiring maintenance.
- Ability to record and analyze power consumption data accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Detailoriented with good recordkeeping skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a demanding environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proactive attitude with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of power factor and maximum demand management techniques.
- Understanding of relevant regulations
Work Environment:24 X 6 (6 days a week)
Shift Details:
General Shift. (09:00 AM - 5:00 PM), Shift might rotate
Salary:
₹10,000.00 per month
