About myNachiketa
myNachiketa Foundation is inspired by Nachiketa, a character in the Upanishads, who asks philosophical questions to Yama in his childhood.
Our method is to encourage kids to question and think of various different ways of arriving at answers, rather than developing a regimented thought process.
Our goal is to reach every kid globally with this knowledge, help them critically reason, and develop their own understanding based on exposure to various schools of Indian philosophy.

Role:
City Representative - Sales and Operation
We are developing a number of products related to Indian philosophy based on the knowledge encapsulated in the ancient Indian scriptures like the Gita, Vedas & Upanishads.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has business acumen and can work like an entrepreneur and sell myNachiketa products.
Our products are for children from 3 to 15 years of age.
The role includes creating awareness about myNachiketa Foundation, its vision, and mission, selling books, promoting myNachiketa social media channels, selling merchandise, conducting workshops etc.
Responsibilities:
- Identify the location/area to put retail stall and start selling books
- Spend atleast 5hrs each day at retail location selling targetted number of books to customers.
- Properly setup stall with proper display and organization.
- Develop and execute a sales plan to meet or exceed sales goals for our books both retail and wholesale
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking with other business holders, tieup with temples, schools, etc
- Manage the entire sales process which includes creating a customer pipeline, pitching, negotiating, and closing the sale
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Track and report on sales activity and progress toward sales goals
- Attend events to promote our books and network with potential customers
- Daily reporting of activities and cash trader
- Share frequent insights received from the customers
Requirement:
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Good people management skills
- Great retail selling skills
- Techsavvy, should know how to use WhatsApp, zoom, video call, etc
- Selfmotivated and able to work independently
- Should have a business mindset
- Analytical skills is a must
- Strategic mindset and the ability to work at a pace
