Desktop support Engineer / IT Ops Engineer. Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot all windows. Familiar with Mac and Ubuntu OS. Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, laptop, and computer hardware. Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops and printers. Customize desktop hardware to meet user specifications and site standards. Performs work in compliance within specified warranty requirements. Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards. ITIL process Knowledge. Working knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP and remote control tools. Able to operate within customer standard operating procedures. Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs. Customer-oriented attitude. Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills. Good communication (both verbal and written) skills and excellent phone manner. Knowledge of all software applications used within the organization. Professional image and grooming. Self-confidence and interpersonal skills. Analytical and problem solving skills.
