Role and Responsibilities:


  • Welcoming, assisting, and directing handlers and owners in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ensuring that clients are promptly attended to and not kept waiting for more than 10 minutes at the reception.
  • Answering all phone calls and providing necessary information to callers while encouraging them to schedule appointments.
  • Classifying consultations as complete or ongoing and ensuring followup appointments are booked with the appropriate veterinarian.
  • Assessing the types of appointments and scheduling time slots accordingly.
  • Ensuring that doctors receive all relevant messages and information.
  • Maintaining a log of missed calls and following up with clients for their next appointments.
  • Keeping a record of all received calls in a call history log.
  • Placing confirmation calls to clients one day prior to their scheduled appointments.
  • Handling cash deposits at the bank when required.
  • Assisting in the role of a pharmacist on days when no pharmacist is available (training will be provided).
  • Minimum 815 years of experience in a similar role.
