Introduction:


The product architect role works with colleagues across GTIS to deliver an accessible and user friendly self-service channel enabling our GTIS customers to access GTIS products through a self-service website.

We are pretty open minded about these roles.

You may be a very technical BA, or you may be a very business minded developer, but if you believe you can take an API or workflow, and work with a customer to help them integrate it into Skylight, then explain to a develop what they need to deliver, and make its simple for a GTIS customer to consume, then please toss your hat into the ring.

What will you be doing?

  • Perform design, development and support of existing and new products being integrated into the Skylight Platform.
  • Understand Skylight Platform vision and business needs to define product requirements and product architectural solutions.
  • Develop architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of platform and product
  • Work with Product Owner / Release Engineering in planning and execution of new product releases.
  • Work with domain, product management and product engineering teams in the solution engineering efforts.
  • Work with product management and Service delivery teams in solution demonstrations.
  • Maintain product roadmap and architectural standards that assure product development projects optimally align with business objectives.
  • Define product validation policies to deliver products that meet system and project expectations.
  • Facilitate the creation, review, and sign off of project deliverables.
  • Provide support for production escalations and problem resolution for customers.
  • Assist technical team with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems knowledge.
  • Develop broad knowledge about current and future product/platform features.
  • Become the SME for a number of Skylight Feature offerings.
  • Ensure controls and governance processes are embedded and monitored.
  • Manage communication and prioritisation of work with customers

What we're looking for:


  • An experienced technical person, who has a wide experience of many technologies, and craves breadth of role, from stakeholder management and requirements gathering to, detailed DB and screen design. If you bring the desire, we can fill in the gaps.
  • A desire to remove red tape and make life easier for GTIS customer, and the drive and resilience to see this through.
  • If you are bored of your narrow role, and crave freedom to explore and develop across a number of technical disciplines this role id for you.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic and fluid environment and manage a wide range of stakeholders and demands.
  • Able to be involved in technical design discussions as well as communicating to large groups and senior stakeholders.
