Job Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring appropriate dosage, labeling, and instructions for use.
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions or contraindications.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients regarding medication use, side effects, and precautions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to optimize patient care and medication therapy management.
  • Maintain proper inventory control, monitoring stock levels, and ordering medications and supplies as needed.
  • Oversee and manage the compounding and dispensing of specialized medications, including sterile preparations.
  • Perform medication therapy reviews to identify and resolve medication-related problems, optimize therapy outcomes, and promote medication safety.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in pharmaceuticals, drug therapies, and healthcare regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including medication profiles and documentation of interventions.
  • Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards, including compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy technicians and other support staff.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs, medication error reporting, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Qualifications:

  • Valid pharmacist license in the state where practicing.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug therapies, and pharmacology.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex medical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications and maintaining records.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy management systems and software.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing pharmacy practice.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting positive health outcomes.

Pay:
₹250, ₹300,000.00 per year
