Role purpose:

The Enterprise IT Domain Delivery department caters to IT/IS needs of vertical business units in Vodafone Group Enterprise that include Vodafone Global Enterprise, Vodafone Carrier Services, Machine-to-Machine / Internet of Things, and Cloud & Hosting Services, each with their own portfolio of products and services, and relevant business functions in Group Technology.

The function also builds re-usable assets that cater to the IT/IS needs of Enterprise Business Units in a number of Vodafone Local Markets.

To support key strategic growth areas, Enterprise IT require a highly capable and experienced 'Amdocs MEC Design and Delivery Lead' to support the definition of the vision and the roadmap strategy for Enterprise MEC capability and is responsible for leading the team, solution definition & delivery in conjunction with the business.

The role covers leadership and management of solution designers and implementers to set up and support the Enterprise solutions required to deliver, defining team goals, building team knowledge sphere and creating an inspiring team environment, expertise in requirements analysis, the business case definition, the solution architecture with the domain & architecture leads, the vendor & SI selection, the management of the solution design, the overlooking of the build with the domains, the solution acceptance, the stabilisation in production and the control of benefits realisation with the business according to defined KPIs.

Within his/her key accountability, the Amdocs MEC Design and Delivery Lead will interact with the business, Enterprise IT, the domain SME's, the test managers and the infrastructure & operation teams to define and deliver the committed roadmap to support Enterprise growth.

Job Responsibility:

Proven track record defining and governing complex Product Catalogue architecture and solution designs in a Telco environment. Amdocs MEC knowledge is must.
Sound overall knowledge of Product Catalogue Management, integration, data design methodologies, coding standards, version control, continuous deployment methodologies and industry best practices
Act as IT representative leader towards business and business representative towards IT for Amdocs MEC
Lead effort to identify and analyse business drivers to derive business, information, technical, and solution requirements and to analyse IT industry and market trends and determine potential impact upon Enterprise.
Working collaboratively with central and local Technology stakeholders to ensure that the right technology infrastructure are in place to support the central and local delivery and operations
Business acumen with solid E2E understanding of Enterprise processes.
Extended knowledge of the most relevant SW components and vendors in MEC
Proven track record defining and governing complex Product Catalogue architecture and solution designs in a Telco environment. Amdocs MEC knowledge is must.
Sound overall knowledge of Product Catalogue Management, integration, data design methodologies, coding standards, version control, continuous deployment methodologies and industry best practices
Strong communication, engagement, influencing and decisionmaking skills able to deliver in a matrix environment and balance conflicting interests
Ability to translate Business Requirements into IT Designs with maximum reuse of previous solutions
Business acumen with solid E2E understanding of Enterprise processes.
Extended knowledge of the most relevant SW components and vendors in MEC
Is a recognised expert in Technical and Design of Amdocs EPC/MEC and have experience of Product Modelling for Telcos.
Provide solution direction and guidance to other MEC Designers and technical staff.
Interact with, plan and monitor technical departments effort to implement successful delivery of the solutions.
Develops and maintains relationship with Group and Local OpCo technology leads, while ensuring that team members remain the primary point of contact for daytoday matters.

Academic: BSc or BEng as minimum and MSc or MBA (preferred).
6.5 TO 10 Years of experiences in the same skills.
