Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BASIS Security Consultant with 5 years of experience to join our team.

As an SAP BASIS Security Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our SAP systems by implementing and maintaining robust security measures.

Your expertise in SAP BASIS combined with knowledge of security principles and best practices will play a vital role in protecting our organization's critical data and resources.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand security requirements and translate them into SAP BASIS security design and implementation.

Design, implement, and maintain SAP security architecture and solutions, including user access management, authorization concepts, roles, and profiles.

Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the SAP landscape.

Monitor and analyze security logs and reports to detect and respond to security incidents and breaches.

Manage user access controls, segregation of duties (SoD), and sensitive access privileges.

Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures for SAP systems.

Provide guidance and support to development and functional teams in implementing secure coding practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure integration of SAP systems with external systems.

Conduct security training and awareness programs for end-users and IT staff.

Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP security patches, notes, and best practices, and implement them as required.

Participate in SAP system upgrades, installations, and migration projects, ensuring security compliance.

Maintain documentation related to SAP security configurations, procedures, and incidents.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP BASIS security administration.

Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts, principles, and best practices.

Proficiency in SAP security administration, including user and role management, authorization concepts, and role-based access control (RBAC).

Experience with SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) solutions is highly desirable.

Solid understanding of SAP landscape architecture and components.

Familiarity with security compliance frameworks such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

Experience in conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

SAP BASIS certification and/or SAP security certifications are a plus.

Salary:
Up to ₹900,000.00 per year
