Job brief
We are looking for a
five year experienced Maternity Sister.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Administering medications to patients as directed by a physician, including injections.

Effective monitoring and evaluation of patients admitted in the maternity ward.

Ensure an outstanding client experience.

Providing emotional support and guidance to new mothers in dealing with postpartum depression or other challenges during the transition to parenthood

Conducting assessments of new mothers' physical health, including weight and height measurements

Monitor and manage pregnant mothers during labour and childbirth and ensure timely

Intervention in case of emergency.

Perform deliveries.

Provide care for mothers and new-born after birth.

Monitoring newborns for signs of illness or complications

Collecting and recording data about patients' diets and sleeping patterns

Educating new parents about child development, nutrition, and infant safety, and breastfeeding, diaper changing techniques, newborn care, and safety measures for children.

Requirements:

Deploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.

A Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.

At least Five (5) years relevant work experience in a maternity ward.

Valid Nursing Practice License
