Associate, Global Health and Social Impact


ROLE SUMMARY


Provide operational support for the execution of the Pfizer India Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Portfolio, including implementation of portfolio management processes and procedures that support compliance with the Companies Act in India and Pfizer policy.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Support implementation of CSR Portfolio management processes

  • Execute quarterly CSR project reporting process with individual implementing partner organizations to support effective monitoring and evaluation of projects.
  • Support India Global Health & Social Impact (CSR) Manager in summarizing project level data for portfolio reports, presentations, and CSR Annual Report.
  • Partner with the India Global Health & Social Impact (CSR) Manager and Finance on the CSR budget management process, including fund disbursement and monitoring fund utilization per approved plan. Produce financial reports on regular intervals to support compliance with the Companies Act of India CSR fund utilization requirements.
  • Prepare adhoc reports when requested to support portfolio updates to Pfizer India Leadership and the CSR Committee of the Board.
  • Coordinate the completion of all Pfizer India review procedures (i.e. SOPs and review committees) for CSR project proposals, Product Donations and other funding requests in compliance with global & local SOPs, and Companies Act in India.
Support execution of Colleague Community Engagement/Volunteering Initiatives

  • Partner with India Global Health & Social Impact (CSR) Manager and People Experience to implement colleague community engagement/volunteering initiatives.
  • Provide project management support for community engagement events, coordinating implementation with nonprofit organizations and Pfizer colleagues.
Qualification & Experience

University degree required. 5 years of work experience in finance, project management, compliance, or other related field. Some nonprofit sector experience or knowledge of Companies Act a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and PowerPoint) skills
  • Wellorganized, selfmotivated individual with ability to navigator large, complex organizations and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong Project Management skills, experience developing project timelines, and progress updates for various audiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail to support compliance with company SOPs and country CSR laws.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including ability to engage with external partners/vendors on CSR portfolio monitoring procedures.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Up to 10% domestic travel for CSR project monitoring visits


ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Internal:
This position reports to the Director, Global Health & Social Impact, Global Markets. This role collaborates regularly with the India Global Health & Social Impact (CSR) Manager.

The role also interacts with other groups in India including Finance, Compliance, Legal, People Experience and other Corporate Affairs functions.


External:
This position will interact with local and international nonprofit organizations/NGOs, community organizations, vendors.
