PostgreSQL Database Administrator

  • At least 3 years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL Database Administration.
  • General understanding of PostgreSQL clustering architectures.
  • Deep understanding of security & authentication models with PostgreSQL.
  • Strong grasp of RDBMS and SQL database concepts.
  • Basic understanding of enterprise PostgreSQL implementations like EDB, Percona, etc.
  • Installation, configuration, upgrade, tuning, and maintenance of PostgreSQL production, development, and test databases.
  • Definition and maintenance of database problem reporting, tracking, and resolution procedures.
  • Proactive input into design issues/constraints, performance tuning, and impact analysis of changes.
  • Support, enforcement, and improvement of database development, deployment, and maintenance best practices.
  • Proper maintenance practices management including backups, index maintenance, consistency checks, and statistics maintenance.
  • Strict adherence to internal policies, processes, and procedures.

Salary:
₹800,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliable commuting or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • PostgreSQL Database Administration

SQL: 1 year (preferred)
