Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Write efficient, maintainable functional test scripting and maintain test coverage.
  • Be accountable for the testing and delivery of assigned stories/ sub tasks
Participate in, and support, Agile software development methodology.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders and other business functions.
  • Evaluate and improve the test cycles in place (especially towards continuous test cycles)
  • Promote the importance of quality
  • Plan the work to be done by actively participating in different meetings;
  • Evaluate and confirm quality criteria at a company, project or client level
  • Know how to write test strategies at the enterprise level as well as the product level
Analyze functional requirement documents;

  • Design test plans and test scenarios based on requirements;
  • Create and execute test cases following the test process and approach, then update the test results in the indicated test management tool;
Record defects in the defect management tool by providing a clear description and following the established process;

  • Ability to make different reports for different levels of interlocutors
Respect good practices as well as established standards and procedures;

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in using a BDD framework.
  • Experience in delivering automated test cases every sprint.
  • Must be familiar with Visual Studio.
  • Must have experience with the Specflow Extensions in Visual Studio as we will be performing automated UI testing.
  • Have experience in reviewing & analyzing requirement documents ensuring both business and technical requirements are fully understood.
  • Must be able to design and implement automated tests to cover feature requirements.
  • Be able to monitor the continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline to ensure test automation solutions are integrated throughout our delivery pipeline.
  • Effectively troubleshoot, analyze, isolate and communicate defects discovered as a result of executing automated tests and make recommendations to address the defects.
  • Be able to specify, establish and manage test data for automation use across the project.
  • Must have a strong understanding of testing concepts, methodologies and processes.
  • Must work closely to solution designers with documentation and requirements to write accurate tests.
  • Experience in working on Test Management tools
  • Exposure to cloud/Azure projects

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Primary Skills:
Manual and Automation testing, Functional and System Testing, MySQL, Telecom domain, Test Management tools.

Secondary , MySQL, Cloud/Azure Exposure.

Exp : 5 to 7 Yrs
