Duties and Responsibilities:

General Responsibilities:

Foster excellence across all aspects of school life, with a particular focus on student progress.
Contribute to the efficient operation of the school.
Cultivate a school ethos characterized by positivity, purposefulness, and professionalism.
Provide support and encouragement to students, fellow educators, and staff.
Advocate for consultation, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Teaching and Learning Responsibilities:

Design and deliver wellstructured, tailored lessons suitable for diverse student abilities and aligned with the curriculum.
Cultivate High-Performance Learning skills in accordance with the school's values.
Create an engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
Collaborate with department heads and learning support staff regarding students with special needs, and with form tutors and house heads for pastoral concerns.
Uphold high standards of conduct by fostering a proactive approach to study and cultivating positive relationships with students.
Assign homework consistent with policy and appropriate to students' abilities and overall workload.
Promote organizational excellence.
Maintain punctuality in lesson attendance.
Assess, document, and monitor student progress in accordance with departmental guidelines to furnish parents with timely and accurate feedback.
Ensure availability and upkeep of necessary teaching materials and resources.
