Job Title:
Microbiology Quality Controller
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, inprocess samples, and finished products using a variety of techniques such as plating, enumeration, PCR, and microscopy.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Interpret test results and analyze trends to identify potential quality issues or deviations from standards.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs teams to investigate and resolve any qualityrelated issues or nonconformities.
- Develop and implement microbiological testing protocols, procedures, and standards in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all microbiological testing activities, including test methods, results, and any corrective actions taken.
- Participate in internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Stay informed about advancements in microbiological testing techniques, technologies, and regulatory requirements, and proactively incorporate new knowledge into laboratory practices.
- Train and mentor junior staff members on microbiological testing techniques, quality control procedures, and safety protocols.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability of microbiological testing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a microbiology laboratory, preferably in a quality control role.
- Strong knowledge of microbiological testing techniques, including aseptic techniques, microbial enumeration, and identification methods.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for microbiological testing in relevant industries (e.g., food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics).
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment such as autoclaves, incubators, spectrophotometers, and PCR machines.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends or anomalies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety in all laboratory activities.
Pay:
₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
