Operating Equipment:

Chemical operators are responsible for operating various types of chemical processing equipment such as reactors, distillation columns, pumps, compressors, and filtration systems.

Troubleshooting: They troubleshoot equipment and process problems, identifying issues and taking corrective actions to maintain smooth operation and prevent downtime.

Safety Procedures: Chemical operators must adhere to strict safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of themselves, their coworkers, and the environment. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following protocols for handling hazardous materials.
