Assisting Patients:
Help patients understand their medical bills, including charges, insurance coverage, and payment options. This may involve explaining complex medical billing codes, insurance terms, and reimbursement processes in a clear and understandable manner.

Resolving Billing Inquiries: Address patients' billing inquiries, such as discrepancies in charges, denied claims, or questions about insurance coverage. Investigate billing issues, liaise with insurance companies, and work to resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner.

Providing Billing Support: Offer support to patients who are navigating the medical billing process, including setting up payment plans, processing refunds or adjustments, and assisting with insurance claims submissions.

Handling Insurance Matters: Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries, such as verifying insurance coverage, explaining benefits, and clarifying copayments, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses.

Managing Patient Accounts: Maintain accurate records of patient accounts, including billing and payment information, using specialized medical billing software. Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare privacy regulations (such as HIPAA).

Educating Patients: Educate patients on their financial responsibilities, including the importance of timely payments, understanding insurance policies, and utilizing available financial assistance programs or resources.

Collaborating with Healthcare Providers: Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, medical staff, and billing departments to address patient billing issues, coordinate payment arrangements, and resolve billing disputes.

Following Compliance Standards: Adhere to relevant healthcare regulations and compliance standards, such as HIPAA, when handling patient billing information and communicating with patients.

Providing Excellent Customer Service: Offer compassionate and empathetic customer service to patients, demonstrating patience, professionalism, and sensitivity to their medical and financial concerns.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations, insurance policies, and medical billing practices through ongoing training and professional development.


Salary:
₹25, ₹40,000.00 per month
