Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide personalized travel recommendations and itineraries based on clients' preferences, budget, and travel objectives.
- Research and stay updated on the latest travel trends, destinations, and industry offerings.
- Assist clients in booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travelrelated services.
- Collaborate with travel suppliers, including airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, and tour operators, to secure the best rates and options for clients.
- Offer guidance on visa requirements, travel insurance, and other necessary documentation.
- Resolve any travelrelated issues or concerns that may arise before, during, or after the trip.
- Stay updated on airline policies, travel regulations, and industry news to ensure accurate and uptodate information is provided to clients.
- Upsell and promote additional travel services, such as travel insurance, guided tours, or special packages.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
- Keep detailed records of client interactions, bookings, and preferences in the CRM system.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the travel agency.
- Previous experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role within the travel industry.
- Indepth knowledge of various destinations, including popular attractions, accommodations, and transportation options.
- Strong understanding of travel booking systems, GDS platforms, and online travel tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and travel suppliers.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with travel industry software.
- Exceptional problemsolving and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in booking and documentation.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate client needs.
- Certification in travel and tourism or a related field is a plus.
