Key Responsibilities:


Learning and Training:

Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop a solid understanding of insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry best practices.


Documentation:
Assist in preparing underwriting reports, summaries, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.


Underwriting Assistance:
Support senior underwriters in various tasks, such as preparing quotes, endorsements, and policy renewals.


Market Research:
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging risks to contribute insights during underwriting evaluations.


Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments, such as claims and customer service, to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fastpaced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance concepts and terminology is a plus.
  • Internship or coursework related to underwriting, risk assessment, or insurance is advantageous.
