Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Technician to join our construction team.

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment at our construction site.

Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of our construction projects while ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment on the construction site, including wiring, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.

Conduct regular inspections and assessments of electrical systems to identify any potential issues or hazards.

Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform repairs or replacements as necessary to ensure proper functionality.

Collaborate with other construction team members to plan and coordinate electrical installations, ensuring compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.

Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and configuration of electrical systems.

Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment to verify their integrity and adherence to specifications.

Install and connect electrical components, such as transformers, motors, generators, and panels, in accordance with project requirements.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to electrical safety standards and regulations.

Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and installations performed, including documenting any modifications or upgrades made to electrical systems.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, advancements, and best practices in electrical systems and construction techniques.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Completion of an Electrical Technician program from an accredited vocational school or possession of an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Electrical Trade.

Proven experience working as an Electrical Technician in a construction or similar environment.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, wiring, and safety practices.

Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and standards.

Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.

Proficiency in using electrical tools, testing equipment, and hand tools.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical stamina and the ability to work in demanding environments.
