What are we looking for?

We are a small team of designers trying to solve the problem of making the small-and-medium scale Indian manufacturers of home decor and apparel ready for global markets.

We are looking for a passionate designer with - 2 years of experience and has the skills and knowledge to take full ownership of the design projects at Lal10.

You are right for us if

You have a portfolio of previous projects (online/pdf), explaining in detail about the design process, your thought process and design decisions and a prototype which clearly demonstrates your design skills. If not, you will be asked to take a design assignment.
You understand and practise user centred design principles in your design process and can be a voice for the users in the company
You understand design systems and have experience in creating or using one in at least one of your previous projects.
You have good storytelling and communication skills and can present your designs to various stakeholders in a clear, convincing way.
You can collaborate with other stakeholders to understand product and business requirements and make design recommendations considering the user, product and business needs
You are a Figma expert; You have an organised way of working with designs and can document designs and improve existing design libraries and systems.
You have good visual design skills, have a good grasp of design systems and responsive design concepts.

What you will do

Understand the product requirements by interacting with PMs and create userflows and come up with design concepts.
Wireframe and prototype design concepts using standard tools and document and iterate on the designs.
Come up with features and improvements that you can ship quickly and measure for effectiveness.
Use and evolve our internal design libraries and design system.
Work closely with engineers and other partners to ensure what is shipped is true to your design work.
Help with hiring and establishing a design culture within the company
Directly contribute to the overall product and design direction of the whole company.

Salary:
₹400, ₹800,000.00 per year
