Responsibilities:


  • Plan and deliver dynamic geography lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of secondary students.
  • Create and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the ICSE curriculum, incorporating various teaching methodologies and resources.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and intellectual growth.
  • Assess student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
  • Utilize technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences, integrating multimedia resources and educational tools into lessons.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enrich the curriculum and promote cross-curricular connections.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in professional development activities and workshops to stay updated on educational best practices, curriculum developments, and teaching methodologies.
  • Contribute to the overall school community by participating in extracurricular activities, school events, and committees as needed.

Qualifications:


  • A Post Graduate or Graduate degree in Geography or a related field.
  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) qualification in Geography.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in secondary education, preferably in an ICSE or similar curriculum school.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Permanent


Salary:
₹38, ₹45,000.00 per month
