Job Description for Position of Microsoft AZURE Expert / Network Engineer in ITIM for IT COE

Position:

Permanent, Males from Mumbai Preferred

Educational Qualification:

B.E. Computers / B.E. Electronics / B.E. Electronics & Telecommunications / B.E.

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS from reputed university with relevant job experience in this area of Microsoft

AZURE CLOUD INFRASTRCUTURE / AWS CLOUD technology

Job Experience:

8 to 10 years on Microsoft Technologies, minimum 4 to 5 years in Microsoft AZURE

infrastructure technologies including IAAS offering from Microsoft

Certifications:

ITIL, Microsoft AZURE infrastructure related certifications, Other relevant certifications of

Microsoft / AWS Infra set up

ROLES and

RESPOSNSIBILITIS:

Setting up of the IPSec VPN between existing firewall (TOYO
I end configuration) with Microsoft AZURE

Cloud.

Carrying out/sharing any information related to network / DNS / Active Directory related

- changes/configuration.

Firewall policy configuration to restrict access to specific servers from AZURE to Toyo-I environment.
Mapping the onpremise file server with the AZURE Workstations
Symantec Antivirus installation, MS office activation.
Carrying out any configuration required on user?s workstation to access the AZURE deployed environment.
Coordination with Microsoft AZURE Partners:
To establish Site-2-Site VPN between Toyo I infra & AZURE Infra.
To Check reachability of Toyo-I network from AWS workstation & vice a versa after S2S VPN connection
To Enhance security in terms of AZURE Client.
To Configure AD connect in AZURE environment.
To Analyze data download size from AZURE to Toyo I DC.
To measure & monitor infrastructure utilization.

Co-ordination with Internal Users:

To coordinate with 3D admins for workstations allotment.
To install & configure AZURE client on their personal machine.
For troubleshooting if user is facing slowness while working on AZURE Workstation client.
For windows patch updates
Evaluating, Designing, testing & Deploying Cloud technologies in the infrastructure.

Other Skills needed:

Knowledge & expertise in Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Active Directory Schema and Forest

- configuration, Sites deployment / configuration

Knowledge & expertise in DNS, DHCP
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 / 8 / 10 / 1
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / 2019 K
Knowledge of Group Policy Management and Deployment
Knowledge of Microsoft tools for storage administration in Azure e.g. VM virtual hard disks, database files,
Knowledge of data backups & restore in cloud
Good English:
Spoken and Written
Person interacting with Japanese speaking natives will be an added advantage.
Coordination with Multi country, multidisciplinary users will be an added advantage.
Willing to work in Follow the Sun Model for Global Support ( May call for SHIFT Duties
