Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Annotate data accurately according to specified guidelines and requirements.
- Label images, text, audio, and other forms of data using annotation tools and software.
- Quality check annotated data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to understand project requirements and annotation specifications.
- Provide feedback on annotation guidelines and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain organized records of annotated data and associated metadata.
- Assist in the development and refinement of annotation tools and processes.
- Communicate effectively with team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in data annotation techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Previous experience with data annotation or similar tasks preferred.
- Familiarity with annotation tools such as LabelImg, CVAT, Labelbox, or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with large datasets.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools like Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and terminology is a plus.
