JOB OVERVIEW:


The Interior Designer plays a pivotal role within our architectural firm, contributing to the creation and execution of interior design concepts for various architectural projects.

Working closely with architects, engineers, service provider, suppliers, consultant and clients, the Interior Designer ensures that interior spaces align with project objectives, aesthetic standards, and functional requirements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conceptualization And Design Development:

  • Collaborate with architects and project stakeholders to develop interior design concepts that complement architectural visions.
  • Create mood boards, sketches, renderings, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Incorporate client feedback and project requirements into design iterations, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Space Planning And Layout:

  • Utilize knowledge of spatial relationships and human behavior to optimize interior layouts.
  • Develop detailed floor plans, furniture layouts, and circulation diagrams that maximize functionality and efficiency.
  • Consider factors such as circulation flow, accessibility, and zoning regulations in space planning.

Material And Finish Selection:

  • Research and specify appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and lighting fixtures based on project requirements, budget constraints, and design intent.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to source materials and products that meet quality standards and project specifications.
  • Evaluate material samples, color swatches, and finish options to achieve desired aesthetic and tactile qualities.

Construction Documentation:

  • Prepare detailed interior construction drawings, schedules, and specifications for tender and construction phases.
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants and vendors to integrate interior design elements seamlessly with architectural systems and building codes.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation to facilitate smooth construction and implementation processes.

Project Coordination And Communication:

  • Maintain regular communication with project teams, clients, contractors, vendors and consultants to ensure alignment of design intent and project milestones.
  • Attend meetings, site visits, and presentations to provide design updates, address concerns, and resolve designrelated issues.
  • Foster positive working relationships and promote effective collaboration among team members and stakeholders.

Quality Assurance And Design Excellence:

  • Uphold high standards of design excellence, craftsmanship, and attention to detail throughout all project phases.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and critiques of design proposals, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project briefs and design standards.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for design innovation, sustainability, and value engineering to enhance project outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in interior design or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably within an architectural firm or design consultancy.
  • Strong knowledge of interior design principles, building codes, construction techniques, and materials specification.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet project deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for design innovation.
  • Should be an effective communicator to transfer interior spaces into functional beautiful environment.
  • Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces, including consultations, renovations, space planning, and new constructions.

₹20, ₹80,000.00 per month
