    Description

    Manager- Collections

    About the Role

    You will be responsible for driving collections along with the regional teams. Your key responsibility would be to executive collection efforts and provide timely reports to the management as well as regional teams to enable prediction of the collections. You will be the single point of contact for regional teams for invoice generation & collection from customers.

    Scope of the Role

    Collection of Account Receivables

    • Planning: Plan collections across regions based on payment terms with customers, distributors and historical movement of collection.
    • up: Follow up with regional teams regularly on collection. Conduct weekly calls and ensure the collection plan is executed.
    • handling- Directly get involved in exceptional collection cases and resolve them. Initiate legal recourse if required. This may also require direct interactions and visits to channel partners and schools.

    Reporting and Documentation

    • Complete all documentation regarding invoices, deliveries done to schools, and return stock received from schools.
    • Keep all reporting formats, CRM, documentation etc. updated on a day-to-day basis. Prepare management dashboard and summary collections reports

    Process Building, Communication & Collaboration

    • Building: Define the collection processes and policies. Initiate new processes to improve the collection process and bring efficiencies continuously.
    • & Collaboration: Constant communication with regional teams to communicate the processes and policies. Work together with the regional business team and lead the entire collections as a project.

    Ideal Profile

    • from any stream
    • to 8 years of receivables management experience with 1-3 years as a team manager
    • self-starter with a comprehensive approach to doing things. Doesn't need a reminder for expected activities.
    • go-getter who gets things done.
    • have experience in reporting receivables to teams and management. Should be comfortable working with MS Excel.
    • collaborator who can work with influence with both customers and internal teams.
    • communicator- Should be able to connect and communicate well in English and Hindi.
