Job Description:

As System Administrator at GeekyAnts, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, including the deployment of our software solutions, implementation of DevOps practices, and ensuring the security and stability of our systems.

You will collaborate closely with our development and operations teams to streamline processes and optimize performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage, monitor, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network devices.
Administer and support virtualization environments, such as VMware and/or Hyper-V.
Implement and manage deployment pipelines for our software solutions, using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
Collaborate with the development team to optimize deployment processes and ensure seamless product releases.
Implement and maintain DevOps practices, such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code.
Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues, providing endtoend solutions.
Design and implement disaster recovery and backup solutions to minimize downtime and data loss.
Create and maintain system documentation, including procedures, guidelines, and network diagrams.
Provide support to endusers and respond to escalations as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 35 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on deployments and DevOps.
Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Good in scripting languages, such as Bash,Terraform or PowerShell.
Experience with deployment tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and network security.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
