Job Title:
QC Officer - API Pharma
Experience: 2 to 7 years in API Pharma companies or Formulation companies
Location:
Palghar
Responsibilities:
Quality Control Operations:
Conduct routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using analytical techniques such as HPLC and GC.
Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of samples to ensure compliance with established specifications and standards.
Document and report test results accurately and promptly.
Instrumentation:
Hands-on experience in the operation, calibration, and maintenance of HPLC and GC instruments.
Troubleshoot and resolve instrument issues to ensure uninterrupted testing activities.
Collaborate with the maintenance team for scheduled instrument maintenance.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
Maintain detailed records of all analyses, investigations, and calibration activities.
Participate in the preparation and review of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Method Validation and Development:
Participate in the validation of analytical methods for new products or existing products with modified processes.
Contribute to the development and improvement of analytical methods for efficiency and accuracy.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Manufacturing, and Regulatory Affairs, to support product development and regulatory submissions.
Provide technical support to other departments as needed.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement in the QC laboratory.
Implement and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
Training:
Train and mentor junior staff members in analytical techniques, instrumentation, and quality control processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- 2 to 7 years of handson experience in quality control within API Pharma companies or Formulation companies.
- Proficiency in handling HPLC and GC instruments.
- Strong understanding of cGMP and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
