About the position
Upfields Global Finance FP&A team is looking for a FP&A Overheads Controller to join this best-in-class team of professionals. In this role, you will own and lead the corporate overheads cost control.

You will be responsible for all reporting and analytics of actuals (month-end) process, annual planning and forecasting; help coordinate with respective finance partners/budget owners to ensure timely forecast/plans are submitted and aligned with stakeholders.


You will function as business partner with key executives within the business ensuring overhead budgets and forecasts are well understood and tracked against forecast - particularly Group Marketing, Finance, Group Strategy, International Sales, General Management, Legal and Corporate Affairs.


So, what does it take to be successful in this role?

Leads Cost Control and Reporting: Takes charge of monitoring and controlling corporate overhead costs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Facilitates Annual Planning and Forecasting: Coordinates with finance partners and budget owners to develop timely forecasts and plans aligned with stakeholder objectives.

Engages in Business Partnership: Collaborates closely with key executives, including the Group CFO and CMO, to track and analyze overhead budgets and forecasts for various departments.

Manages Month-End Close Activities: Leads the month-end close process, working alongside the finance control team to review performance, book accruals/prepayments accurately, and ensure timely ledger closure.

Enhances Reporting and Analytics: Prepares comprehensive overhead reporting packs for executives, adding insightful analysis against forecast and budget. Additionally, supports automation and standardization efforts to streamline reporting processes.
