Responsibilities:

Design, model, and implement database architecture standards and best practices focused on data analytics and data warehouse platforms
Interface with engineers, product managers, and data analysts to understand data needs
Analyze existing data designs to suggest improvements in performance and scalability
Solve challenging data integration problems by creating scalable and optimal data architecture
Optimize pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems to facilitate easier development of data artifacts and data flows

Required Skills & Qualifications:

A degree (preferably an advanced degree) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
7+ years of industry experience in architecting and developing data warehousing solutions, preferably in an operational business domain
3+ years of experience in multidimensional, tabular models with complex datasets and designs.
Strong programming experience Azure Data Analytics stack, specifically in Synapse, ADF, Data Brick, Data Lake, Data Modeling
Strong proficiency in RDBMS and NoSQL databases, preferably in cloud implementations

Familiarity with data visualization tools
