We are seeking a skilled
Auto Electrician to join our team. The Auto Electrician will diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems in various vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy equipment.

This role requires expertise in auto electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose Electrical Issues: Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults in vehicles, including cars, trucks, heavy equipment, construction equipment, earth moving equipment, HUV, SUV etc.

Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, such as lighting, wiring, ignition, and electronic control systems.

Installations: Install new electrical components and accessories, including alarms, GPS systems, radios, and lighting systems.

Testing: Conduct tests using specialized tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems and components.

Battery Maintenance:Inspect, test, and replace vehicle batteries and charging systems.

  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and advice to other mechanics and technicians as needed.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor time for each job.

Compliance:Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.

Stay Updated:Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive electrical technologies and repair techniques.


Qualifications:

-
Education: Diploma / ITI in Auto Electrician or equivalent. Technical training or certification in automotive electrical systems is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2-8 years of experience as an auto electrician or in a related field.

Skills:


  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in vehicles.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Skilled in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and handeye coordination to handle tools and parts.

Work Environment:


  • The role involves working in a workshop or garage environment with exposure to automotive fumes, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Must follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
