Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier. The primary responsibility of this role is to process transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.

As the first point of contact for many customers, the Cashier plays a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
  • Scan items and process transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision.
  • Ensure pricing is accurate and promotions are applied correctly.
  • Bag items carefully and efficiently, maintaining the integrity of delicate or perishable products.
  • Answer customer questions regarding products, services, and store policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and security.
  • Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service throughout the store.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Salary:
₹100, ₹300,000.00 per year
