What you'll be doing
:


  • Mentoring MTS II developers and supporting their ability to perform their job activities.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities continuously to manage, troubleshoot and automate fixes for AWS apps.
  • Providing inputs to AWS solution architecture and driving implementation of it with the team.
  • Monitoring product health daily and after software releases.
  • Creating automation to manage and monitor AWS environments for cost overruns, security vulnerabilities & governance requirements.
  • Troubleshooting production issues and provide automated fixes, where possible, to reduce manual burden.
  • Creating and managing golden AMI's for AWS.
  • Creating and managing AWS Kubernetes clusters.
  • Creating and managing centralized logging and monitoring infrastructure on AWS.

What we're looking for
:

You are curious about new technologies and the possibilities they create.

You are driven and motivated, with strong communication and analytical skills and thrive in dynamic work environment with different stakeholders/architects/business clients across large enterprise systems.

You are great at analyzing business requirements and translating them into system requirements using the lens of customer experience. You are great at working in teams and can use your interpersonal skills to get your point across.


You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Python and Ansible.
  • Experience designing and collaborating with senior design/architects.
  • Two years or more experience with AWS.
  • Experience provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments.
  • Experience with the AWS CLI and SDKs/API tools.
  • Experience with IT DevOps tooling and CI/CD practices.
  • AWS certified SysOps Administrator Associate certification.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience with a high-performance, high-availability environment development.
  • Two or more years of experience managing DevOps products like, Gitlab, Jira, Jenkins, Artifactory etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Technology & Cloud certification.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional certification.
  • Kubernetes cluster management experience (installing, configuring, securing, upgrading, scaling, managing, monitoring).
  • Operational knowledge of AWS EKS, ECS, Fargate and Lambda services.
  • Experience with SRE Practices.
  • Two or more years of experience as a systems administrator in a systems operations role.
