About Total Rewards:


The Total Rewards team plans, designs, develops, analyzes, communicates, and implements Total Rewards (TR) strategies and programs consistent with Company business and HR strategies across the businesses, functions, and/or geographic areas of the company.

Consults with and trains business leaders to develop, plan and implement TR solutions to address unique organizational needs and requirements.

Manages relationships with consultants, vendors, employees, and third parties in a heavily matrixed organization (HPE) to ensure program delivery.

Analyzes and interprets internal and external data to model changes to various reward elements such as base salary, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, health and welfare, and retirement programs.

Examines impact of rewards on the total organization and various sub-groups including Board members, executives, sales employees, and specific business segments.

Monitors legal and regulatory changes to ensure compliance. Integrates reward programs with complimentary systems (e.g., Performance Management and Talent Management).


What you'll do:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Participate in the annual compensation & benefit programs benchmarking relative to market and peer group companies. Develop and/or participate in surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine HP's competitive position.
  • Research and analyze market data and perform data modelling, costing and forecasting in partnership with global teams. Recommend appropriate market pay rates, salary structure movement, salary increase budgets, and benefit program costs.
  • Maintain a fair understanding of compensation and benefits practices in India. Develop professional relationship with external contacts and participate in industry group meetings.
  • Prepare detailed management reports and present findings and recommendations to senior leaders at a local and regional level. Develop compensation related communication materials including employee notifications, presentations, policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Support business leaders, managers and HR team on all compensation programs. Proactively keep HR and key business partners (Finance, Legal, Payroll, etc.) informed of compensation topics to facilitate crossfunctional delivery of HR programs and services. Take periodical inputs and feedback on existing compensation programs to ensure competitiveness.
  • Partner with COE/Region to roll out various compensation programs and policies.

What you need to bring:


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor/ Master's Degree in Human Resources.
  • Minimum of 1 2 years of professional Human Resources/Compensation & Benefits experience in a similar industry.
  • Understanding and knowledge in the field of compensation and benefits as well as general business and industry knowledge.
  • Experience with Compensation administration.
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint would be a plus.
  • Strong data analytical skills, ability to deal with problems and present solutions in a clear, concise manner.
  • Strong people skills, relationship management and ability to work with and influence individuals at a functional level.
  • Projects a positive customer service focus and able to establish effective work relationships with senior leaders.
  • Ability to selfprioritize work demands and deliverables within short timelines.
