We are seeking a creative and results-driven
SEO Strategist to join our wedding and events team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy across various platforms, with a focus on driving engagement and increasing brand awareness in the wedding and events industry.

Responsibilities:

An SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Strategist at Alangkaar is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve a website's visibility and organic search rankings on search engine results pages (SERPs).

Their primary goal is to drive targeted traffic to the website and increase its online presence.

Here are some common roles and responsibilities of an SEO Strategist:

Conducting comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant keywords and phrases that align with the website's content and target audience. This involves analysing search volume, competition, and user intent.
Optimizing website content, including meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking structure, to ensure it is searching engine friendly and aligned with targeted keywords. They also focus on improving user experience, such as page load speed and mobile responsiveness.
Collaborating with web developers to address technical issues that may impact search engine crawling and indexing. This includes optimizing website architecture, XML sitemaps, file, canonical tags, and resolving crawl errors.
Developing an effective content strategy that focuses on producing highquality, relevant, and engaging content for the website. This includes identifying content gaps, conducting content audits, and optimizing existing content for SEO.
Developing and executing a link building strategy to acquire highquality backlinks from authoritative and relevant websites. This involves outreach, relationship building, and content promotion to attract natural links.
Monitoring website performance using analytics tools to track keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics.
Analysing data to identify areas of improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.
Conducting regular SEO audits to identify technical issues, content gaps, and opportunities for optimization. They assess the overall health and effectiveness of the website's SEO strategy and provide recommendations for improvement.
Keeping uptodate with the latest trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in the SEO industry. This includes attending conferences, reading industry blogs, and participating in relevant online communities.
Working closely with crossfunctional teams, such as content creators, web developers, designers, and marketing managers, to align SEO strategies with overall business goals and ensure consistent implementation.
Testing and experimenting with new SEO techniques, tools, and strategies to stay ahead of the competition. Adapting strategies based on the evolving search landscape and user behaviour.

These responsibilities may vary depending on the organization's size, industry, and specific SEO goals. However, the core objective remains the same, which is to optimize website visibility and increase organic search traffic.

₹30,000 per month (negotiable according to experience)
