This is for a Sr Engineer position in PAS LOB under PMT-HPS for Honeywell Batch/Pharma Solutions.

He / She would be responsible for creating test plans, test procedures as for Honeywell Batch Solutions catering to the requirements of the Pharma Industry and Compliance regulations and should ensure full coverage.
He / She would be responsible for developing Test Strategies/Scenarios and sequences typically applied in Pharma Manufacturing to emulate Scenarios close to Drug Manufacturing Practices
He /She will be responsible for the overall System level Test Coverage and reduction in Post Release defects to the Customer/End User
He / She will be responsible for On-time delivery of project/group objectives and influences project level productivity.
He / She will be responsible for review of Architecture and design and can design test strategies to cover non-functional requirements in the program.
He / She will also drive the culture of ensuring the test engineers in the team are using test environment that almost replicate customer sites and develop better customer scenarios for validation.
He/ She would be responsible for interacting with key Stakeholders such as Architects, Program Management, Development Leads and Test System Engineer
He/ She should be able to support/resolve queries from Project Engineering teams and TAC
He/ She should be able to drive improvements in Test methodologies inline with the best in class Standards
Will have to closely collaborate and work with product development team. Requires to understand the product requirements, plan the testing, prepare test cases, execute the testing and report the defects in defect tracking tool.
Ensuring timely completion and submission of weekly test reports. Should take initiative in giving innovative ideas and enhancement suggestions for new or existing products. Will need to work with other global stakeholders.

Essential Skills:***He/She should have had experience in Batch Design - Process and Equipment Model based on the Process and Design Inputs. He/She must have experience of FAT/SAT of Batch Projects.

He should understand the process safety and control requirements.

He/ She should have working knowledge on Batch sequence programming using ladder programming, FBD, SFC and other languages described in IEC standard.

He/ she should have sound knowledge of different communication protocols for third party interfaces and for field device integration.

Should have very good Logical reasoning and Analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

Having Knowledge on Cyber Security and ISA Secure Standards is preferable

Industrial experience in process or power plant and knowledge of critical control loops.

Knowledge of communication protocols Ethernet IP, Profinet, Fieldbus, PROFIBUS, DEVICENET, HART, MODBUS, OPC.

Working skills in Honeywell Experion PKS.

Control strategy creation using Configuration Studio and Control Builder engineering tools.

Knowledge and usage of C200/C300 controller and Series A, Series C I/O and PMIO.

Knowledge of Server and client topology and having work experience on FTE(Fault Tolerant Ethernet).

Knowledge of Alarms, Trend, History, Reports and basic networking will be added advantage.

Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or Test Life Cycle. Experience in usage of

He / She should have good working experience in test automation tools like Python, Selenium etc

Exposure to Test and Requirement Management Tools such as JIRA, Quality Center, Jama would be an advantage

Qualification:

B. Tech - Instrumentation and Control, Electrical, Electronics or Equivalent.

4-8 years of experience.
