Responsibilities

  • Install, configure and maintain and troubleshooting software and hardware over the workstations, computers and laptops.
  • Manage network servers and technology tools.
  • Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
  • Set up accounts and workstations with the official network and firewall.
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages.
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewall rules.
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
  • Develop expertise and get trained yourself with the new technologies.
  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and follow the IT policies defined by the management.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
  • Experience with databases especially in MYSQL, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
  • Resourcefulness and problemsolving aptitude
  • Good Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Professional certification in the field of networking and hardware will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of github and similar repository systems will be an advantage.

Salary:
₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
