Overview:

Prodapt is looking for a Manual tester with Telecom background with 3 to 5 yrs of experience for Chennai location who can general work mode(NO WFH/ Hybrid).


Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Manual Tester to join our team immediately.

As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our telecommunications services through functional testing and end-to-end (E2E) testing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects and ensure a seamless user experience.


Requirements:


  • Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios for functional, integration, system, and endtoend OSS/BSS telecom.
  • Verify software behavior against defined requirements and expected results.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using a bug tracking system, collaborating closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including software developers, product managers, and network engineers, to understand product requirements and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
  • Participate in test plan and test case reviews to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide recommendations for product enhancements or bug fixes.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of test environments and test data related to OSS/BSS systems.
  • Follow established testing methodologies and best practices to ensure consistent and highquality testing.
  • Stay updated with telecommunications industry trends, specifically in the OSS/BSS domain, and proactively contribute to process improvements.
  • Handle client/stakeholder calls with mínimal support from the manager.
