_ We are seeking to onboard a Student Success Mentor who will help us ensure quality outcomes for students aspiring to study abroad. The Mentor will be responsible for hand holding students during the time they are in India working online towards their degree, supporting students in building their profiles for career readiness in the US and curating community led guidance for aspiring students through LA alumni and current students._

Roles and responsibilities:

Provide endtoend handholding support: Help students transition into the US, develop their profile during the academic program in India such that they are jobready for the US job market.
Lead academic liasioning and guidance: Coordinate and facilitate interaction between US university and students, while meeting their academic needs to ensure student retention.
Curate communityled guidance: Engage and establish relationships with former international students and jobmarket aspirants to share their experience and advise our students on a regular basis.
Train students for careerreadiness: Design and implement a weekly curriculum to impart necessary softskills to students to increase their effectiveness in navigating the job market.
Develop written selfhelp resources: Source, structure and create resources to help prospective students develop a resume, create their profile, and make it effective digitally.
Develop an experienced network of mentors: Plan, and run a parallel learning track of curated guidance from professional mentors on different career tracks and skills required in each career.
Run a LeapAdvantage Job board: Setup a curated jobboard for our students, and update it daily with liasioning support between interested students and employer's contact person.
Coach students: Interact with students in an interview format to train them rigorously in the selection processes on a monthly basis, or as per developmental needs of the student.
Train students on nonacademic modules, conduct masterclasses and webinars to drive student engagement.

Skills and experience:

Bachelors' degree at a minimum, and preferably with 23 years of experience in studyabroad counselling/student mentorship and overall 5 years of experience in mentoring/coaching.
Excellent communication and interaction skills.
Must be detailoriented and flexible so as to wear multiple hats that can solve for the problems/needs of our students.
