Key Accountability/Role and Responsibilities

Assist the Doctor and Orthotist when consulting the Patients with Foot and Ankle Ailments.
Provide Off the shelf / Customized Orthosis and other products to the patient.
Scheduling Appointments of the patients.
Counselling of the patients on clinical outcomes and costs.
Billing / Cash Management.
Basic administrative activities.
Assist the doctor in various podiatric surgical procedures.
Independently perform callus scrapings, medical pedicure and dressings.
Perform various footrelated diagnostic procedures.
Help the orthotist in creating customized orthotics.
Manage the Stocks and Inventory at the clinic.
To ensure accurate, timely and reliable recording of all the clinical / non clinical / patient data.
To compile and send timely activity reports to the appropriate supervisor/responsible.
To refer clients to appropriate services, care and treatment.
Scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries.
Optimizes patients' satisfaction.
Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties, answering patients' questions, and maintaining the reception area.
Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients, and filing, collecting.
Maintains inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, and scheduling equipment service and repairs.
Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
