Key Duties and Responsibilities
-
Child Care and Supervision:


  • Assist with daily routines like diaper changing, toileting, and handwashing.
  • Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and engagement in appropriate activities.
  • Help manage conflicts and promote positive social interaction among children.

Learning and Development:


  • Assist the lead teacher in setting up and carrying out curriculum activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
  • Prepare learning materials and resources for activities.
  • Observe children's play and development, and document observations for progress reports.

Classroom Management:


  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
  • Set up and prepare learning areas for various activities.
  • Assist with preparing and serving snacks or meals (if applicable).

Communication and Collaboration:


  • Communicate effectively with the lead teacher, parents, and other staff members.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding children and their families.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
