Job Title:
RMO (in in-patient hospitals) or DMO (in day-care hospitals)


Title of immediate supervisor:
PiC (Physician-in-Charge)


Statement of Purpose of the Job:
To support the PiC in the performance of his duties leading to unit level objectives; particularly, in the absence of the PiC


The RMO/DMO shall be responsible at the unit level for:
Patient Satisfaction

Safety of patients, bystanders, and staff

Quality systems

Quality of medical care

  • Implementation Level
Quality of non-medical services

Process adherence to NABH standards

Coordinating Provision of Care
- medical and other
- (initial and changes during cycle)in consultation with the primary physician(s) and PiC, as applicable.

Coordinating care during transitions
- shift/physicians/CGs

Prompt, Clear, Complete, Accurate filling of all formats that form part of the AyurVAID quality management system

Team assignment proposal in discussion with HCG(s)

Facility maintenance and upkeep

Company asset protection

Diet Plan

Treatment Scheduling and Duty Scheduling

Billing Support

Documentation support for PP (signed off by PP)

Medical records management

Oversee the PRE & PBE

Ensuring adherence to organisation values and ethical guidelines

Punctuality of treatment/diet/medication

Commercial process adherence
- primary processes
- billing, receipts, cash imprest, expense

Pharmacy process adherence

Purchase
- process adherence

Stores management
- linen, provisions, stationery, raw drugs, consumables, etc.

Management of relationship with patients, bystanders

JOB SPECIFICATION:
RMO/DMO


Graduate Ayurveda physician or surgeon with minimum two years experience in Ayurveda hospitals that offer classical Kerala Ayurveda chikitsa including the pradhana/shodhana karma.

Alternatively, postgraduate Ayurveda physician or surgeon with or without minimum experience in a hospital setting. Administrative experience in a hospital or in any organisation is a key attribute. Good communication skills, people management skills, self confidence, and overall leadership skills mandatory. Familiarity with the local language, local communities-patients and doctors


Job Types:
Full-time, Regular / Permanent


Salary:
₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month

  • Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:
