Brief on the Organization:


  • Project Brief:


Digisahayam is an assisted telemedicine program which is envisioned to bridge gaps through healthcare workers that help urban underprivileged population access tele-medicine platforms and enable physicians in making informed clinical decisions based on physical and lab-based findings.

A Program Coordinator will be stationed at Telemedicine Centre (TMC) at Medchal, Telangana.

The telemedicine centre will act as a powerful medium between the patient and physicians, improving communication channels and carrying out necessary diagnostics tests using simple point-of-care diagnostic devices.


  • Deliverables:
  • The Program Coordinator will be responsible for all the onsite activities.
  • He/ She will play an integral role in managing human resource and logístical issues at the TMC.
  • He/ She will also provide supportive supervision of TMC staff.
  • He/She will perform direct surveillance and site review activities to ensure the appropriateness of project services, supervise and conduct onsite audits of the centers and practices adopted at the center, develop and implement the changes as necessary for the smooth functioning of the project.
  • He/ She will be working onsite (Telangana).
  • The Program Coordinator will be responsible to work with local partners and ensure smooth operations at the TMC. Develop comprehensive reports on ongoing project and submit summary reports to management each month. Create crisis management plans that will be executed in the event of a problem with the interior or exterior of the TMC. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for managing the promotion and positioning of TMC services in the community to improve the footfall of patients in the TMC.
  • He/She will attend and participate in stakeholders meetings, and other meetings as needed.
  • He/She will be ensure smooth functioning of the telemedicine centers.
  • Overseeing all the implementation activities including critical key activities, resources requirement and utilization plan for the TMC. Will also be responsible for upkeep and maintenance for the TMC and its equipment.
  • Prepare and disseminate of an advanced program implementation including critical key activities and milestones, time lines, resources requirement and utilization plan for key components, structure/mechanism.
  • To identify bottlenecks, develop algorithms to keep track of process and progress of program. Prepare and disseminate inadvance microplans for TMC staff for activities like conduction outreach camps, doorstep consultations, community surveys at the telemedicine center. Conduct spot and random checks and monitoring field visits for quality assurance.
  • He/ She will be responsible to compile all the project related data and report on regular basis to central PHFI team.
  • Draft project progress reports, as well as any other reports as per the requirement of the program or as designated by Program Manager.
  • Travel as required.
  • Any other tasks related to Supervisor/PI.
  • Qualification:

Essential:


  • Post graduate degree in Public health/ PGHDM/PGDPHM/PG

Desirable:


  • Any other relevant certification would be an asset.
  • Postgraduate in any healthrelated field.
  • Experience:

Essential:


  • Around 03 Years of postqualification experience.

Desirable:


  • Understanding of report writing, indent, bookkeeping, and budgeting.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and multitasking ability.
  • Social work with Public Health experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Computer proficiency with commonly used software such as Microsoft Office.
  • Proven Project Management skills.
  • Around 4 years of postqualification experience with implementation of a health programme at the NGO / Community level and familiarity with the management of Healthcare Establishment or Familiarity/experience in liasioning with multiple stakeholders and promoting services and public relations.
  • Experience in working with largescale government programmes, particularly related to training, HR, policy evolution, and supervision.
  • Excellent Presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities.
  • Working knowledge of Tamil also desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
