Job Qualifications:

You're a great match for this role if you:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in Law.
  • Have experience in contract drafting.
  • Can join Immediately.
  • Are known for Good communication skills including the ability to maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with clients, customers and with fellow employees
  • Are organized and able to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Are flexible to work in 24/7 Shifts and Split offs.

A Day in the Life:

Objective:
contact clients on new suits, confirm with clients for arbitrations/trials; schedule initial expert depositions; follow up with opposing counsel for discovery responses, authorizations, etc; follow up with courts/judges for entered orders


Tasks

  • Prep new suits
  • Draft documents for efiling (pleadings, motions, orders, etc), then efile, and update expense spreadsheet.
  • Answer discovery
  • Order and follow up on Complex records
  • Send files for medical/bill reviews

Other misc


occasional tasks:

  • Send/receive misc. documents with opposing counsels via Share file
  • Docket court dates
  • Draft expert disclosures
  • Prep arbitration packets
  • Prep for trial (subpoenas, jury instructions, motions in limine, etc)
