Job Summary:


As a Home Automation Installer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining smart home devices and systems to optimize the functionality and convenience of residential properties.

You will collaborate with homeowners, designers, and contractors to understand their automation needs and preferences, ensuring seamless integration and operation of smart technology throughout the home.


Responsibilities:

Consultation and Planning: Meet with clients to assess their automation requirements and preferences. Provide recommendations on suitable smart devices and systems based on their needs and budget.

Installation: Install and configure various smart home devices, including but not limited to:

  • Smart lighting systems
  • Gate Automation
  • Security cameras and alarm systems
  • Smart locks and access control
  • Entertainment systems (audio/video)
  • Home appliances (smart kitchen, laundry)
  • Automated window treatments

Integration: Ensure seamless integration of different smart devices and systems to work together harmoniously. Set up centralized control interfaces, such as smart hubs or mobile apps, for easy management and monitoring of the entire automation setup.

Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing of each installed system to ensure proper functionality and performance. Troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions promptly and provide timely resolution.

Client Education: Provide detailed instructions to clients on how to operate and maintain their smart home systems effectively. Offer training sessions if necessary to familiarize them with advanced features and functionalities.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installed equipment, configurations, and any modifications made during the installation process. Prepare documentation and user manuals for clients as reference materials.

Continued Support: Offer ongoing support and maintenance services to clients, including software updates, system upgrades, and troubleshooting assistance. Respond promptly to service calls and inquiries to ensure client satisfaction


Working Conditions:


  • Work primarily indoors, both in new construction and existing homes.
  • May need to work in confined spaces or at heights, depending on the installation requirements.
  • Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate client schedules and project deadlines.
  • Travel to client locations within a designated service area may be required.

Requirements:


  • Diploma in Electrical, ECE, Automobile,Mechanical,Instrumental or any related Electrical Filed.
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring and basic construction principles preferred.
