The back office sales coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the sales team.

They assist in managing the sales process, handling customer inquiries, coordinating sales activities, and ensuring efficient communication between different departments within the organization.


Skills and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:


Administrative Support:


  • Maintain and update sales databases, spreadsheets, and other records.
  • Prepare and distribute salesrelated documents such as contracts, proposals, and presentations.
  • Manage and organize salesrelated correspondence and documentation.

Order Processing:


  • Process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with various departments including inventory, logistics, and finance to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Track orders and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.

Customer Support:


  • Address customer complaints and concerns, escalating issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Provide assistance to sales representatives in managing client relationships.

Sales Coordination:


  • Assist in the coordination of sales activities such as meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Prepare sales reports, performance metrics, and forecasts as required.

Inventory Management:


  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory management team to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Assist in forecasting sales trends and demand to optimize inventory levels.

Data Analysis and Reporting:


  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support decisionmaking processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:


  • Liaise with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the finance department on invoicing, billing, and payment processing activities.
