The Finance Chief Accounting Office (FCAO) team acts as a specialized independent control and internal and external reporting function, with our primary objective, to define and enforce robust reporting that ensures transparency and is delivered on target and on time.

In addition, FCAO acts as an internal advisor, Group wide, and operates as a center of excellence for Finance on a range of topics, including SOx, Operational and Valuation risks, structured transactions, Policy and methodology, managing the investment portfolio of DB and responsibility for all acquisitions, divestments and joint ventures by the DB Group.

Disclosures are mandatory regulatory requirement and also part of Deutsche Bank's financial report.

The Intern for Group Reporting, External Financial Reporting team will be responsible to support the end-to-end analysis, preparation and presentation of disclosures, ensuring the content and quality of disclosures, and coordinating the activities of all stakeholders (e.g., Senior Management, Internal & External Auditors, Regulators, Risk, Compliance, Business Finance Directors, and other relevant senior stakeholders).

The role demands significant contribution to the preparation of notes to the financial reports, 20-F, FINREP and various relevant regulatory requirements.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of following outputs/activities:
  • Disclosures and Notes to the Interim / Annual report in accordance with IFRS requirements covering the Fair value reporting.
  • FINREP Reporting
  • Various other sections of the Interim Report and Annual Report (20F)
  • Support the execution of the timely and high quality submission of all of the above mentioned reports, come up with ideas to automate or streamline the existing process
  • Cater to ad hoc management requirements on reporting and analysis
  • Support the execution of an effective quality audit over functional outputs
Exposure/Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of Accounting & Auditing Standards
  • Knowledge of banking products
Education / Certification/ Skills

  • Passed both the groups of IPCC exam conducted by ICAI and completed 1.5 years of articleship
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively (oral & written)
  • Strong analytical / business problemsolving skills
  • Well organized & able to clearly present results of work
  • Ability to manage own time
  • Diligent, thorough, shows initiative and is proactive
  • Team Player willingness to pick up any activity in the team on need basis, able to induct new joiners and support them

  • Should be eligible for Industrial Training as per the ICAI rules and regulations
